New floors, installed flat, tight and built to last.
Flooring changes the feel of an entire room — and it’s the surface that takes the most abuse. A beautiful floor that squeaks, gaps or cracks within a year is a bad investment. DACS Painting & Home Renovation installs ceramic tile, hardwood, carpet, laminate and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) with the subfloor prep and finishing details that keep floors looking right for years.
We’ll help you choose the right material for each room, measure precisely, and give you a free, written estimate that includes removal, prep, installation and trim.
Flooring we install
Ceramic & porcelain tile
Kitchens, baths, entryways and laundry rooms. Waterproof, extremely durable and endlessly customizable in size and pattern.
Hardwood & engineered wood
Solid and engineered hardwood for living areas and bedrooms. Timeless, warm, and adds real value to your home.
Luxury vinyl tile (LVT/LVP)
Waterproof plank and tile that looks like wood or stone. A top choice for basements, kitchens and homes with pets.
Laminate
Scratch-resistant and budget-friendly, with realistic wood looks for busy living spaces and rentals.
Carpet
Soft, warm and quiet underfoot for bedrooms, stairs, playrooms and finished basements, installed over quality pad.
Subfloor repair & leveling
Squeaks, soft spots and uneven areas fixed before installation so your new floor stays flat and quiet.
Which flooring is right for your room?
| Material | Best rooms | Water resistance | Why homeowners choose it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ceramic / porcelain tile | Baths, kitchens, entries, laundry | Excellent | Most durable option; huge design range |
| Hardwood | Living, dining, bedrooms | Low | Classic look, can be refinished, adds resale value |
| Engineered wood | Main floors, over radiant heat | Moderate | Real wood surface with better stability |
| LVT / LVP | Basements, kitchens, whole-home | Excellent (waterproof) | Pet- and kid-friendly; comfortable and quiet |
| Laminate | Living areas, bedrooms, rentals | Moderate | Scratch-resistant and budget-friendly |
| Carpet | Bedrooms, stairs, basements | Low | Softest and warmest; reduces noise |
How we install floors the right way
The finish you see depends on the work you don’t. Every DACS flooring job includes:
- Precise measurements and a written material and labor estimate
- Moving furniture and protecting adjacent rooms from dust
- Removal and disposal of existing carpet, vinyl, laminate or tile
- Subfloor inspection, re-securing to stop squeaks, and leveling where needed
- Acclimating wood and laminate products to your home before installation
- Correct underlayment, moisture barrier or tile backer for each material
- Clean transitions between rooms, plus new or reinstalled baseboard and shoe molding
- Final cleanup and a walkthrough with you
Painting and flooring together
Planning to paint too? Do it in the right order. We typically paint walls and ceilings first, install new floors, then finish baseboards and trim last — so nothing gets scuffed or splattered. Because DACS handles painting and flooring, we sequence it all for you.
